Meaning of Nature

I recently read Thoreau’s Walden Lake. Thoreau uses his simple words to depict the endless charm of nature in Walden Lake. He loves nature and goes to it. The descriptions of the scenery permanently enchant me. I grew up loving the natural life of the countryside. It seems that only in such a wild place, far away from the hustle and bustle, does real-life show its true nature. We began to cook carefully, eat seriously, care about food and vegetables, make friends with animals, and slow down. We don’t belong here, but we are born here. I hope that people in difficult situations will still love the rising sun, the wind in the wilderness, and revel in the waves of the ocean, just like the love of the grass for the time of day, as Thoreau said “Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”
